University Police investigating criminal damage

We are seeking our community’s help in identifying these individuals, who we believe have more information about a criminal damage incident that occurred on campus.

On Aug. 25 around 2:19 a.m., security cameras captured footage of two individuals involved in spray painting the columns of Foellinger Auditorium at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. The damage was present on all six columns and required extensive labor to remove. The individuals were observed on multiple security cameras in the campus area between 2:01 a.m. and 2:38 a.m.

The investigation is ongoing, and police continue to seek additional information.
