David L. Gaines, 58, of Urbana, was arrested at 12:14 a.m. Friday in the 600 block of East Green Street, Champaign for disorderly conduct and on a Vermilion County, Illinois, warrant for failure to appear in court. Police were called by a restaurant employee in the 200 block of East Green Street who reported that Gaines was making threats and implying that he had a weapon. Police found him several blocks away. He did not have a weapon at the time of the arrest.
