A U. of I. student reported that a package had been stolen between 2:18-3:30 p.m. Friday after it was delivered to the mail area of his apartment in the 700 block of South Sixth Street, Champaign. The retail value of the package is $173.

A U. of I. employee reported that catalytic converters had been stolen from three university-owned vehicles between Friday and Monday while they were parked outside the Natural Resources Building, 607 E. Peabody Drive, Champaign. The estimated repair cost is $300 per vehicle.

A U. of I. student reported that her car’s catalytic converter had been stolen overnight Friday or Saturday while it was parked in the 2100 block of South Orchard Street, Urbana. The estimated cost to repair the vehicle is $300.

At 5:40 p.m. Monday at a restaurant in the 500 block of East Green Street, Champaign, Wenqiang Bian, 31, of Champaign, was issued a state of Illinois notice to appear in court for trespassing on real property. Police were called by the restaurant manager, who reported that Bian had entered the building after previously being issued a no-trespassing notice for the property.

A U. of I. employee reported that his headphones had been stolen overnight Oct. 31 to Nov. 1 from his office at the Thomas M. Siebel Center for Computer Science, 201 N. Goodwin Ave., Urbana. The headphones have an estimated value of $350. The office was locked, and a limited number of people had access.
