On Tuesday, it was reported that packages had been stolen Dec. 13 and Monday after they were delivered to the mail area of an apartment building in the 100 block of East Healey Street, Champaign. The two stolen packages have a total estimated value of $195.

A U. of I. employee reported that a man shouted alarming comments at her at 5:53 p.m. Monday while she was working at Grainger Engineering Library, 1301 W. Springfield Ave., Urbana. The man had left the area by the time police arrived.

A U. of I. student reported Tuesday that someone had made two unauthorized purchases on Jan. 20 totaling $392 with his credit card.

A U. of I. student reported that his wallet had been stolen during a fight at 12:04 a.m. Sunday outside Kam’s, 102 E. Green St., Champaign. Shortly thereafter, the student’s debit card was used at Circle K, 59 E. Green St., Champaign, in two unauthorized transactions totaling $208. The wallet and its contents have a total estimated value of $90.

The property manager of an apartment building in the 300 block of East Green Street, Champaign, reported that someone had stolen a $100 sign from the building around 2:30 a.m. Feb. 13.

Javarrias J. Miller, 23, of Champaign, was arrested at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Bousfield Hall, 1214 S. First St., Champaign, for trespassing on state-supported property. Police were initially called by a building staff member who recognized Miller and was aware that he previously had been issued a no-trespassing notice for all U. of I. property.

At 9:13 p.m. Friday, a man approached a U. of I. student who was walking with a friend in the 300 block of East Green Street, Champaign, and touched her buttocks. The man then followed the student for a short distance and asked her name. The student left the area.

It was reported that someone entered a vehicle and stole cash around 8:38 p.m. Saturday in the 500 block of Bash Court, Champaign. A witness reported that he saw one man in the backseat of a parked vehicle and two men standing nearby. They abruptly left the area when they saw the witness. Police contacted the owner of the vehicle, a U. of I. student, who said cash was missing.

Davontay A. McKinney, 29, of Champaign, was arrested at 10:31 a.m. Monday in the 100 block of East Green Street, Champaign, for possession of cannabis with intent to deliver and possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver. Police initially stopped McKinney because he seemed to be evading an officer who was circling the block. McKinney consented to a search of his backpack, and police found approximately 868 grams of cannabis. McKinney disclosed to police that he also had ecstasy pills at his apartment.
