A package was stolen around 11 a.m. Tuesday after it was delivered and left outside an apartment door in the 2300 block of South First Street, Champaign. The estimated value of the package is $45.

A U. of I. student reported that her bicycle was tampered with and damaged overnight Monday or Tuesday while it was locked to a rack in the 100 block of East Green Street, Champaign. An estimated repair cost was not provided.

Oluwadara O. Owoeye, 24, of Urbana, was arrested at 5:08 p.m. Tuesday at the Illini Union, 1401 W. Green St., Urbana, for aggravated battery, resisting a police officer and trespassing on state-supported property. Police initially were called by a university employee who reported that Owoeye had entered the human resources office asking for a job and punched him in the chest. Owoeye resisted officers during the arrest. He previously had been issued a no-trespassing notice for all U. of I. property.

At 4:15 p.m. Tuesday at Bousfield Hall, 1214 S. First St., Champaign, U. of I. student Kevin Li, 20, of Champaign, was issued a state of Illinois notice to appear in court for public indecency. Police initially were called by a U. of I. student who reported seeing Li in a public study lounge with his genitals exposed.

At 12:49 p.m. Tuesday at the Sidney Lu Mechanical Engineering Building, 1206 W. Green St., Urbana, Amarion D. Poindexter, 18, of Urbana, was issued a state of Illinois notice to appear in court for trespassing on state-supported property. Police initially were called by a U. of I. employee who requested that Poindexter be escorted out of the building. He previously had been issued a no-trespassing notice for all U. of I. property.

At 8:51 a.m. Tuesday in the 0-100 block of East Gregory Drive, Champaign, Devonte J. Moore, 27, no address provided, was issued a state of Illinois notice to appear in court for trespassing on state-supported property. A police officer recognized Moore and was aware that he previously had been issued a no-trespassing notice for all U. of I. property.

U. of I. student Eustis Tapia, 21, of Urbana, was arrested at 11:24 p.m. Monday at the U. of I. Public Safety Building, 1110 W. Springfield Ave., Urbana. Police initially were called at 1:36 a.m. Sunday by a U. of I. student who reported that Tapia had struck him multiple times outside a bar in the 200 block of East Green Street, Champaign. Tapia was interviewed by police Monday.
