A U. of I. student reported that his bicycle had been stolen between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. Sunday outside Grainger Engineering Library, 1301 W. Springfield Ave., Urbana. The bicycle, which has an estimated value of $150, was locked to a rack.*

A U. of I. student reported that her bicycle had been stolen Saturday or Sunday outside Illinois Street Residence Halls, 1010 W. Illinois St., Urbana. The bicycle was locked to a rack. No value estimate was provided.*

A U. of I. student reported that his bicycle had been stolen between Sept. 15 and Wednesday outside the Illini Union, 1401 W. Green St., Urbana. The bicycle has an estimated value of $300. No information was provided on whether it was locked.*

A U. of I. student reported that her bicycle had been stolen overnight Tuesday or Wednesday outside Townsend Hall, 918 W. Illinois St., Urbana. The bicycle, which has an estimated value of $115, was locked to a rack.*

A U. of I. student reported that his electric scooter had been stolen between 1:40-3:20 p.m. Friday outside the Electrical and Computer Engineering Building, 306 N. Wright St., Urbana. The scooter, which has an estimated value of $414, was locked to a rack.

A U. of I. student reported at 1:08 p.m. Sunday that she saw a man chasing people in the area of the Campus Instructional Facility, 1405 W. Springfield Ave., Urbana. Police identified and found the man, with whom they were familiar from previous calls related to mental health. He was issued a no-trespassing notice for U. of I. property.

Paul E. Craig Jr., 47, of Champaign, was arrested at 2:47 a.m. Sunday near First and White streets, Champaign, for aggravated driving under the influence of alcohol, driving with a revoked license, operating an uninsured vehicle and improper lane usage. Craig’s vehicle initially was stopped after police observed it repeatedly crossing the center lane line.

Bryan Olivar-Cortes, 21, of Champaign, was arrested at 11:20 p.m. Saturday near Fourth Street and Springfield Avenue, Champaign, for driving under the influence of alcohol, aggravated unlawful use of a weapon and improper lane usage. Olivar-Cortes’ vehicle initially was stopped after he proceeded straight through an intersection from a left-turn-only lane. An officer found a loaded handgun in the glove compartment. Olivar-Cortes does not have a concealed carry permit.

Delano M. Richardson, 20, of Champaign, was arrested at 2:56 a.m. Saturday near Third and Healey streets, Champaign, for driving under the influence of alcohol. Richardson’s vehicle initially was stopped because its headlights and one taillight were not illuminated.
