At 3:46 p.m. Wednesday, a man threw rocks at a police car parked outside the U. of I. Public Safety Building, 1110 W. Springfield Ave., Urbana. The rocks damaged a vehicle window. The man drove away from officers who tried to stop him. The estimated cost to repair the damage is $400.

A U. of I. student reported that credit cards had been stolen from his wallet around 1:40 p.m. Tuesday at the Student Dining and Residential Programs building, 301 E. Gregory Drive, Champaign. The wallet was left unattended in a study room. An unauthorized $24 purchase was made hours later at a local store.

A U. of I. student reported that his bicycle’s seat and lights had been stolen overnight Tuesday or Wednesday while the bicycle was locked to a rack outside Blaisdell Hall, 901 W. Pennsylvania Ave., Urbana. The parts have a total estimated value of $30.

At 9:08 p.m. Wednesday at Carle Foundation Hospital, 611 W. Park St., Urbana, U. of I. student Pranav Chittharanjan, 19, of Urbana, was issued a state of Illinois notice to appear in court for disorderly conduct. Chittharanjan was identified as the suspect who reportedly entered the women’s shower areas Sunday at Oglesby Hall, 1005 W. College Court, Urbana. Chittharanjan had been transported by ambulance to the hospital Sunday morning after the Oglesby Hall incidents.
