URBANA, Ill. – Several road closures will be in place Friday and Saturday to accommodate Engineering Open House on the north side of campus.

The following road closures will take place:

• Mathews Avenue between Springfield Avenue and Green Street will be closed from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
• Springfield Avenue between Wright Street and Mathews Avenue will be closed all day Friday and Saturday, including overnight. There will be limited access to Springfield Avenue between Goodwin and Mathews avenues.

Motorists are advised to avoid the area to the extent that they can. In addition to the road closures, a larger amount of pedestrian traffic is expected throughout the north campus area.
