CU Fest is designed to create opportunities for law enforcement, students, faculty, staff and community members to interact in a positive, informal setting, jointly breaking down barriers and encouraging open communication.
The Community Unity Festival is from 5 – 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 27, on the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign South Quad. Free parking is available after 5 pm in the F29 parking garage at 1101 S. Dorner Dr., Urbana, IL 61801.
What to expect at CU Fest
- More than 80 vendors, including public safety agencies, community organizations and local businesses
- Free food and ice cream (while supplies last)
- Remote control vehicle rides for children
- Inflatables
- Dunk tank to raise funds for wounded veterans
- Touch-A-Truck activities with police, fire, EMS and more
- Yard games
